John brings 20+ years of software engineering leadership across fintech, government technology, and payment processing platforms. As Director of Software Engineering for a government-facing EdTech/FinTech platform, he led the migration from ECS to Kubernetes to achieve FedRAMP authorization with zero customer disruption, on a platform processing 13M+ financial transactions for 1.3M+ users across 38 states and 400+ government organizations. Earlier, as CTO of a card payment processing platform, he drove 200% revenue growth while maintaining PCI-DSS Level 1 certification as the primary interface with QSA auditors.
John is a U.S. Air Force veteran and is currently completing a Master of Science in Software Engineering with an AI Engineering specialization at Western Governors University.
